Snow Globe Scenes Collection Introduction with Simon Hurley

Hi there, crafty friends! It’s Simon Hurley, and I am so excited to introduce you to my new Snow Globe Scenes Collection with Spellbinders!

Previously, we released the Simon’s Snowglobe Die Set, which creates the perfect base for building your own magical little snow globe. I love how a snow globe can capture an entire scene and make it feel like a special moment frozen in time.

At the heart of this collection are two new scene-building sets that coordinate perfectly with the Simon’s Snowglobe Die Set. Simply create your snow globe base, choose your scene, and fill it with all of the tiny details that bring it to life. The collection also includes two versatile essentials that make it easy to add decorative edges, layers, and texture to all kinds of cardmaking projects.

Holiday Truck Scene Die Set

Holiday Truck Scene captures one of the most iconic moments of the holiday season: bringing home the perfect Christmas tree!

The classic pickup truck is filled with so many adorable details that you can customize with your favorite cardstock colors. Fill the bed of the truck with a freshly cut Christmas tree to create a festive journey home, or load it with colorful presents for a completely different holiday scene.

The additional gifts, bows, and small decorative elements allow you to personalize your truck and create something different each time. You can keep the scene simple or add lots of layered details to make your Holiday Truck Scene extra festive.

City Skating Scene Die Set

City Skating Scene creates a charming winter setting filled with everything you need for an evening of ice skating in the city.

The layered buildings make it easy to create a detailed skyline in the background, while the large Christmas tree becomes the perfect focal point for the center of the scene. Add the ice rink, streetlamps, and tiny skaters to bring the entire city to life.

I especially love the skaters because you can arrange them in different ways around the rink. These tiny figures add so much movement and personality, making it feel like everyone is enjoying a magical night together beneath the city lights.

Ripple Rectangle Frames Die Set

Ripple Rectangle Frames is the perfect go-to die set for adding a fun, textured edge to your card fronts and focal panels.

The set includes seven nested rectangles in a variety of sizes, giving you plenty of options for creating full card fronts, smaller panels, frames, and layered elements. The rippled edge adds just enough detail to make each layer feel special while still working with nearly any style or theme.

This is one of those versatile die sets that you can reach for again and again, whether you are creating a simple card or building a project with lots of colorful layers.

Quilted Die Set

The Quilted Die Set is perfect for adding a cool and unique texture to your card backgrounds.

The repeating pattern has a beautiful quilted feeling that instantly adds detail and interest to an otherwise simple piece of cardstock. It creates a delicate, handmade look that can feel playful, elegant, or cozy depending on the colors and elements you pair with it.

I love background dies that add something special while still allowing the focal point of the card to shine, and Quilted does exactly that.

There is something so special about creating an entire little world inside a snow globe. These coordinating scene sets make it easy to tell a story and capture a favorite holiday memory, while Ripple Rectangle Frames and Quilted help you add the perfect finishing details to your card.

It means so much to me when you welcome one of my collections into your craft room and use it to create something for a person you love. I cannot wait to see all of the festive trips, sparkling city scenes, colorful layers, and textured backgrounds you create!

I hope you love Snow Globe Scenes just as much as I do!

Simon
