Wintry Holiday Scene

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a card featuring the North Pole Scenics stamp set and coordinating dies, which are available as part of the stamp and die bundle.

If these stamps and dies look familar, it's because they were originally released in a 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit. We later welcomed the popular products from the kit into our 2024 Holiday Catalog, after it won last year's annual favorite kit poll. So if you missed out on the kit, now is your chance to get both the stamps and dies! (Oh and look for THIS year's poll winner soon – I hear the votes are being tallied as we speak.)

I began by using low-tack tape to mask the bottom third of a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Dove White cardstock. Next I used large blending brushes to blend Purple Galaxy and Blue Hawaii Reactive inks over the top of the panel, focusing the purple towards the top of the card. When the ink was dry, I used Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink and white embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment at the top left of the panel. Then I dipped a small paint brush into a bottle of White Acrylic Spray and created a fine splatter over the sky. When the splatter was dry, I removed the mask.

Next, I stamped the three images in the scene in Onyx Pigment ink onto more Dove White cardstock. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and then used foam tape to adhere them to the background.

To finish, I glued the card front to a top-folding card base.

Thank you so much for visiting!
