Today we have Kelly Rasmussen  here to share some fabulous "beyond the kit" ideas for a few of the extras. Take it away, Kelly...

Two products, two cards, two different styles! Today I'm showcasing the new  Bat Infinity Dies and the Halloween Messages clear stamp set.

I started out by die-cutting a bunch of bats from Pitch Black Cardstock and Black Glitter Paper (PSA: THE best black cardstock ever is currently in stock!)

Next I created the fun splattery ink-blended background. I blended  Orchid Core Ink  and  Grape Juice Core Ink  and then added a touch of  Pitch Black Core Ink  around the very edge. I used three different mediums to create the splatters:  Silver Glimmer Metallic Ink , Black Liquid Watercolor , and White Acrylic Spray . And let me tell you, our new White Acrylic Spray is THE perfect white spray! You can use the spray nozzle for heavier coverage or dip your paintbrush in the bottle for a more controlled splatter.

I finished off the card with a white heat embossed message from the   Halloween Messages   stamp set. This set contains 16 classic and playful messages perfect for any Halloween card or project.

Seeing all those messages lined up next to each other inspired me create my next card. I find it relaxing to build backgrounds using various sentiments or smaller stamp images. There is just something about getting the images to perflectly nestle together that makes me happy.

I used some of the leftover bat diecuts from my first card to create a focal point. The largest Bat Infinity Die would also be great for a shaker card window or shaped card!

And can you see those beady bat eyes?!?! They were made with the Glow-in-the-Dark Lacquer Pen . This is a fun surprise for the recipient if they see the card in the dark!
