Sweet Candy Cane Wishes

Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I am sharing a card I created with the newly released Candy Cane Fancy Dies set. This six-piece die set is fun, as you can create candy canes in two sizes and decorate them with bows.

I created a candy cane heart to show the versatility of this set. For my card, I created an A2 card base in Cranberry cardstock. I matted a 5" x 3.75" Pitch Black cardstock panel with Silver Glitter cardstock and adhered it to the card base.

I then die-cut the large base candy cane two times in Dove White cardstock and the large striped candy twice in Cranberry cardstock. I flipped one base and one striped candy and adhered them together. I adhered the remaining base and striped candy cane together.

I arranged and adhered a candy cane heart onto the card front. To continue, using the Season Word Fancy Dies Set, I die-cut the shadows and word dies in black and white cardstock. I assembled, arranged and adhered the words above and below the candy canes. Next, I die-cut the large glittery bow in Silver and adhered to the candy canes with a foam dot for dimension.

I believe the combination of the classic candy cane stripes and heart shape creates a playful and visually appealing design.

I hope you are inspired by my card and will give this quick and easy card a try in the color combos of your choice.

Have a happy rest of your day!
