Hello and welcome! Today begins the countdown to the release of our August My Monthly Hero kit. We were inspired by "A Midsummer Night's Dream" when creating this kit, and we think you'll enjoy this adventure into fairyland. Stay with us throughout the weekend as our artists show off projects made with this month’s kit. And remember to comment on each and every post – we’ll be giving away a kit on Monday morning, before the kit launches at 1pm eastern/10am pacific on Monday, August 1! Now join Libby as she gives the first glimpse of this gorgeous kit!

This month's kit may be my favorite yet! The images are so sweet and pretty, and the dies are amazing! For this card, I used the forest frame to set the scene. I love the details of this die, especially that tiny bird perched on its branch!

And notice what's behind the frame on the base of the card? That's woodgrain vellum. Very cool!
