Unveiling Memories: Scrapbooking with Belleview - A Journey in Creativity

Hello, fellow crafters and scrapbooking enthusiasts! Angela here. I’m thrilled to be here as a guest on Spellbinders, sharing my passion by creativity and showcasing the beautiful Belleview paper collection by Rosie’s Studio.

As an avid scrapbooker, I’ve always been drawn to the magic of preserving memories through art, and I can’t wait to share two of my latest layouts with you, each featuring the stunning designs and versatile patterns of the Belleview collection. Join me on this journey as we explore how these papers come to life in my scrapbook pages, and perhaps find some inspiration for your own crafting adventures along the way!

On my first layout, blooms take center stage!

Each vibrant and delicately detailed flower adorning the page was meticulously fussy cut from the exquisite patterns of one of Belleview papers. As I worked, I couldn’t help but be transported to a garden of enchantment, where such peony blooms burst forth in a symphony of whimsical colors.

The flowers steal the spotlight in the photo too. It was the dazzling bouquet I received on my birthday. Oh, what a stunning arrangement it was! The word ‘Happy’ in gold foil, felt like the ideal title to encapsulate the joy of that moment.

For more depth and dimension, I went for a soothing mint-colored watercolor pattern paper as the background of this layout. Embracing the allure of mixed media, I added delicate splashes of white gesso to two corners of the page, infusing the layout with a touch of artistic flair and whimsy.

After allowing the gesso droplets today, I carefully arranged the fussy-cut flowers on top, seamlessly intertwining them with some die cuts selected from the generous Die Cut Ephemera pack of the collection.

Last, I centered the photo between the two flower clusters, completing the layout in record time - aside from the meticulous fussy cutting, of course!

Moving on to the next page, I introduce what I like to call a ‘storyboard’ layout.

In essence, a number of photos are arranged to unfold a narrative. Unlike a ‘multiple photo’ layout, where photos are simply displayed together, a storyboard layout distinguishes itself through the sequential arrangement of photos, allowing the story to progress from start to finish.

To achieve this, I crafted a collage using squares made of both photos and pattered papers. The first photo of the story is positioned at the top right corner of the page, resembling the natura flow of reading.

I incorporated numerous stunning patterned papers from Belleview collection, as well as an abundance of die cuts and stickers, to create layers of intricate embellishments on top.

As the layout revolves around Mario, the peacock resident of the restaurant we visited, I seized the opportunity to incorporate the Kaleidoscope Peacock cutting die onto the page! Isn’t it gorgeous?!

I positioned the peacock within one of the central squares, close to the title ‘Today Fun’, as a fitting tribute to star guest appearance, and here you have it! Another fantastic page completed with flair!

Thank you so much for joining me on this creative adventure, my friend. I hope you found inspiration in my layouts and feel inspired to give them a try yourself, using the stunning Belleview collection by Rosie’s Studio. Happy Crafting!

Love, NG
