Hello everyone! Rosemary Dennis here today on the Spellbinders blog. I am so excited to be sharing three projects using a brand new die collection created by Becca Feeken called
Postage Edge Shapes. For all my projects I also used items from
Cathe Holden’s Flea Market Finds Christmas collection.

Happy Holidays Card
I covered a 5x7 card base with dark red cardstock that I embossed with the
Holly Flourish embossing folder. Coordinating patterned paper from the
Christmas Velvet paper pad were die cut with the largest rectangle and oval dies from the collection.

I used black opaque foil, the
Plaid Tidings Glimmer plate and Glimmer specialty cardstock to foil the oval and then blended on green inks. I layered all the elements finishing with the die-cut Christmas tree and the sentiment that was die-cut using a set released in 2021 called
Mosaic Bracket Card Builder.
Small Décor Piece
Once, again, I created a décor piece. For this one, I created a dimensional postage stamp. I die cut a small rectangle from dark green cardstock and then roughed up the edges a bit. This was adhered to a painted rectangular wooden piece.

I die-cut the insert rectangle from off-white cardstock. I stamped the images from the Flea Market Finds Christmas stamp set called
Compliments of the Season using green ink. I then inked up the edges to give it an aged look. I also inked up the edges of the die cut stocking and then added glitter. The same was done to the postage stamp. I adhered the stamped panel to the décor piece and then added the stocking and postage stamp. I finished the piece with a small red twine bow and lots of grit paste to give it the snowy look.
Merry Christmas Card
For this card, I trimmed down the plaid patterned paper to fit my 5x7 card front. I die cut the smallest slimline postage edge die and the insert die from
Phone Booth cardstock and patterned paper. A circle and square were die cut from
Rainforest cardstock and then the insert pieces from additional patterned paper.

The bird is from the
Sugarplum Tweets die set and was cut from
Phone Booth,
Rainforest, and white cardstock. Additional items like the swirl and the sentiment were cut from the
Rainforest,
Phone Booth and white cardstock. I assembled all the pieces of my card and layered them on the card base.
I hope you enjoyed all my projects! Have a lovely day!
