Watercolored Grapevine

Hi everyone! Ilina here! If you know me you know I love wine, and the small country that I come from is known for its wine, especially in Europe. So the Grapevine Window Fancy Die and the Vineyard HeroScape set and coordinating Frame Cuts are must haves for me, as they remind me of home.

To make the card start by die cutting the Grapevine Window Fancy Die from watercolor paper twice, then use watercolor markers to watercolor the window. Next take the second die cut and watercolor the grapes in lighter purple than the previous one. Fussy cut the grapes out and using foam squares, adhere them to the window. Set aside.

Using Key Lime Fizz and Green Apple Reactive inks, along with Pine Bold Ink and Grape Juice Shadow ink, stamp the Vineyard HeroScape on a piece of Dove White cardstock measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

I get the best results when doing the layers in the following order: layer #1 (key lime fizz), layer #2 (green apple), layer #4 (grape juice) and last layer #3 (pine).

Once stamped, ink blend Pool Party and Lemon Drop Reactive inks to create the sky. Stamp sentiment using Ombre Autumn ink pad using the darkest color. Set aside.

Stamp the table and barrels using the Ombre Autumn ink and die cut using the coordinating dies. Stamp the wine bottle and glasses using Mulled Wine Bold Ink and die cut using the coordinating dies.

Now you have all the elements and you can assemble the card by adhering the Grapevine Frame to the vineyard background. Adhere the table, barrels, bottle and wine glasses using foam squares, then adhere the whole layer to a top folding Dove White note card.
