Video: Shooting Star Stencil Background with Unicorn Ink

Hey there! Welcome back to another video blog post! Daniel here with a stenciled background card featuring the Shooting Star Stencil. I created a video for you to enjoy and see how I made this birthday card for my daughter!

(If you’re having trouble viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)

To create this card, I used the #1 Winner Stamp & Cut Set from a few years back and the Shooting Star Stencil from June's add-on release. You can find both in the shop! I also used Hero Hues Cardstock in Lapis , Cherry and Nautical colors. Of course, to get that glowing white on the ink blended background, I used Unicorn Pigment Ink ! The gold mirror cardstock came from the February 2019 My Monthly Hero Card Kit , also, still available in the shop.

You can create an alternate look for this card by using Clear Embossing Ink and White Embossing Powder instead of the Unicorn Pigment Ink. What other ways have you thought up to use this stencil for a night sky? or a galaxy? Let me know in the comments below!

I really appreciate you spending some time with me today. I can't wait to see what you make with the Shooting Star Stencil!

Carrie Doty,

What a Blessed Daughter to receive such a lovely card. It is just stunning. IMHO. I LOVE 💕 the colors of the card stock. I have not tried Hero Hues card stock but I will be definitely ordering several of their colors now.

Thank you for sharing.

Leanne in Cali,
