Video: Art Deco Thank You Kit

Hi everyone! Ilina here today with a couple of cards using the new Art Deco Thank You Kit.

To create the cards you will need the kit, along with a few other supplies, such as Snow , Black and Pool layering papers and note cards , Versamark ink pad, some pencils and blue gemstones.

Watch the video below to see how these two cards were made, or you can watch it in HD on our YouTube Channel HERE

For the first card I used the die that comes in the kit as an border die. In order to get border you'll want to position the die along the edge of your card stock (the edge that doesn't cut). Then trim it to create border little bit wider than the sentiment you want to use.

Apply Versamark and Gold embossing powder. Repeat it twice. Next you'll need to stamp the sentiment and the bird (and color in the bird). Assemble your card and adhere to a Black note card using some fun foam for extra dimension

For the second card I used the die to create fancy gate fold card. You will want to start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Snow Layering Paper and cut the borders on both sides. You'll need to position the die with the non-cutting side towards the center.

To make the "Gates" gold, adhere some post-it tape or masking tape and apply Versamark, then emboss with gold embossing powder. Score so the middle part is 4 1/4" wide. Fold the gates and set it aside. Stamp the peacock and sentiment, color and cut them out. Adhere top folding note card (make it by using Pool Layering Paper), adhere the elements and you are finished.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and hope you are inspired to get crafty!
