Thanks

Today I’ve got a simple and fresh card design using the awesome Thank You Messages clear stamp set. These two cards came together in about 30 minutes, which just might be a record for me!

I was drawn to the “thanks” banner image, so I looked for a die to stamp it on — turns out that one of the Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies was a perfect fit! So I die-cut it from some watercolor paper and created an ombre watercolor wash using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Then I stamped the banner with Intense Black Ink.

My original plan was to keep it very simple and just pop the heart up on a plan white notecard, but I felt it needed just a little something more. I wasn’t finding the right background stamp, so I decided to create my own with some itty bitty stamps.

For the polka dot background I used the smallest circle in the Happy Stamp + Cut set. And the tiny square is from Kelly’s Everyday Alphabet. Explore your stamps and look for those tiny images that might get overlooked — you never know what you might find!

Thanks for stopping by…I hope you have a wonderful day!
