December My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #5 + Giveaway!

Welcome back to the countdown! The December My Monthly Hero Kit will be released Monday, December 3rd at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Ilina is here with another look at this fun kit!

Hi everyone, I hope you have been enjoying the sneak peeks from this kit the past couple days. I love all things fairies, so this may be one of my favorite kits.

To make my card I started by stamping the fairy and the flower using Intense Black ink onto alcohol marker friendly card stock. Next I colored the images using Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies that are included in the kit.

Set the images a side. Cut piece of shimmery navy card stock measuring 4" x 5 1/4", stamped the sentiment in Versamark and embossed with Detail White embossing powder. Next, die cut a circle from Vellum using the Circle Infinity Dies and assemble your card. As a finishing touch I added few white Nuvo drops.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, December 3rd, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and come back later for one more peek at this amazing kit.

Nicole Rinaldi,

So beautiful! I love the shimmery navy cardstock!

Laura Staley,

I can’t decide if I like the fairy sitting on the mushroom or sleeping on the flower better. They both make such cute cards. And, what an easy way to make a night sky by using navy shimmer cardstock! Beautiful card.

Karen Hale,

Beautiful card, Ilina. The vellum circle makes the sleeping fairy look like she’s floating on her flower blossom bed.

Louise Horner,

I love the colors chosen for this card. The contrast is awesome!

Mindy Drummond,

This is such a beautiful and peaceful card, definitely magical. The shimmery Navy card stock is the perfect background for the sweet Fairy and flower and your Copic coloring is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your card and the inspiration, this Kit is looking like it’s going to be on the “best of the best” list. :)
