A Quote as a Focal Point

Before we get to today's card, we wanted to take a moment to thank our dear friend Amy Tsuruta for spending the past few years with us. Today marks Amy's final regular post as part of the Hero Arts Creative Team. She joined us in August of 2015, and from blog posts, to catalog projects, to helping us at tradeshows, to representing us at classes at her local store - we are so thankful and honored to have had Amy on our team. We wish her all the best in whatever comes next for her!

Hello, I love quotes and couldn't wait to incorporate G6287 Be The Change into a card design. Here is how I was inspired:

Can you believe this has 5 layers? I used a panel from the Midnight and Sunshine Mix Layering Paper packs. My card size was determined by the use of the DI493 Bold Graphic Confetti die that I clipped to a smaller size.

I heat embossed the SB195 Hero Florals Nasturtium in white on vellum. The quote has been also heat embossed in white on a panel from the Midnight Mixed Layer Paper pack.

I've adhered the quote with foam square to give it a bit of height.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
