Zenspired Holidays Inspiration | Beautiful Ornaments with Alexandra Suta

Hi everyone! My name is Alexandra and i blog at Made by Alexandra. Today i am going to share another card featuring the fabulous Zenspired Holidays collection by Joanne Fink.

Spellbinders Zenspired Holidays Collection by Joanne Fink - Inspiration | Beautiful Ornaments with Alexandra Suta featuring SBS-164 Dangling Ornaments, SBS-165 Christmas Sentiments #spellbinders #neverstopmaking

I started by cutting a cardstock panel and then ink blend it using Antique Linen, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock feathers distress inks. When I ink blend I always make sure to tap off the excess ink from my ink blending foam, and using a very light hand to add the ink to my panel. Once the ink blending was done I added some drops of water and let the panel dry. Till the background dries I went ahead and stamped the images from Dangling Ornaments using Versa Mark ink and Wow Embossing powder onto Canson Mix media paper. Once I heat embossed the ornaments I took my Winsor & Newton watercolors and start coloring the images.

For the coloring I always start by adding water to the images and then start adding the color. Is pretty fun to see how the color moves. After that I let it dry (you can also use a heat tool to speed the drying process) and add more layers of colour. Once I was happy with how the coloring turned out I let it dry and meanwhile I stamped the strings from the ornaments onto my background using Versa Mark ink and embossing powder. I fussy cut the images and then adhered them to the background using foam tape! The sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments which i stamped using black ink and to finish the card i added some sequins.
