Video: Snowy Winter Card with Planner Products

In case you haven’t yet had the chance to take a look at Hero Arts Planner Catalog and products – I highly encourage you to do so. Even if you are not a planner person, but a “die hard cardmaker” – you’ll love them!

Today I’m mixing planner products with previously released Kelly Purkey Holiday stamps to create snowy winter cards. I’ll admit, I fell in love with the Weekly Planner Pad and I am now using it not just for my planning , but also as patterned paper for my cards!

Watch my video tutorial below or on Hero Arts YouTube channel to learn how I created these cards.

My color combo was inspired by the weekly planner pad itself. I loved the soft brown and decided I needed to add a pop of aqua and white; that translated into using Soft Brown and Tide Pool inks.

I stamped images from a number of stamp sets starting with the Flags and Tape stamp and cut sets as well as Garden Planner . For the Holiday images I used Kelly's S'Mitten set and stamped “Snow Day” sentiment, snowflakes, mittens etc.

I adhered my images using regular and foam adhesive for a bit of dimension and added white gel pen accents to imitate snow.

Happy stamping!
