Set of Thank You Cards

A set of handmade thank you cards can be a great gift idea to give to a special friend or teacher in your life. With the start of school soon approaching for my kids, I thought a cute set of animal-themed cards packaged with some fun pens or markers would be a nice little treat for my kids to give their teachers on the first day of school.

These are super simple and easy to reproduce! I created all four cards at the same time, doing each step on all four cards before moving onto the next step, which really saved a lot of time.

For each one I simply stamped the dog or cat and sentiment with black ink on watercolor paper and heat embossed it with Detail Black Embossing Powder. Then I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to quickly color in the animals. Aren’t the dogs and cats from these Woof and Purr sets just adorable!

All the sentiments are from the Thank You Messages clear stamp set, which has such a great variety of messages! My favorite of the four is the kitty sitting on the pillow with the “thanks” speech bubble.

To finish the cards I mounted each stamped panel to a piece of black cardstock and then to a Hero Arts Folded Card. I love using these card bases for gift sets because the inside is white and I can get a colored card front without adding an extra layer of bulk.

Hope you enjoyed these simple and easy to reproduce thank you cards!
