NEW Meadow + Lapis Cardstock

Hello! Have you seen the newest additions to our Hero Hues Premium Cardstock line? This month we have added two new colors -- Meadow and Lapis. Below I have some comparisons to colors currently in our line so you can see where they fit in.

Meadow is a great grassy green color that fits in between Kiwi and Pesto.

And Lapis is a beautiful blue that fits in right between Periwinkle and Nautical.

And of course I had to make a card to show you how they look in action!

I used images from the Cross Stitch Pattern stamp set along with our Watermark + Embossing Ink to create some tone-on-tone patterned pieces on Meadow and Lapis Cardstock.

The pattern strip through the middle is stamped with the Knitting Pattern Bold Prints and white heat embossed. Then I used various blue and green Reactive Inks mixed with water to color in the image. Reactive Inks work great for watercoloring!

I cut each patterned strip to be 4-inches wide and then adhered them to a Dove White Folded Card along with two thin strips of Kiwi and Arctic Cardstock.

The sentiment was white heat embossed on vellum and I added some faux stitching in various places using a white gel pen.

This card would be great for someone who knits or does cross-stitch. It has those homemade touches that they are sure to love!
