May My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #6 + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! This is the last look at the May My Monthly Hero Kit before tomorrow's release at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Please note, this month shipping will be delayed, as Hero Arts remains closed due to the shelter-in-place order. We estimate that shipping will begin on May 15, and continue until all boxes have shipped. Thank you for your patience, support, and kind wishes. It means the world to us, and we send love and appreciation your way.

Now let's join Daniel for the final glimpse before the full reveal on Monday!

Hey there my friends and fellow My Monthly Hero fans. The kit this month has me stretching my paper crafting skills to include a bit of envelope art. This collection of stamps and dies make perfect companions out of your envelopes. For my countdown peek, I have created a double-sided project using the dies and stamps from the main kit, plus one add-on.

The kit includes so many sunny, bright and fun stamps, among them, this airplane, banner and tiny sparkles. I stamped them along the bottom of an A2-sized envelope with Intens-ified Black Ink. Then, I colored in the plane using cool gray Copic markers: C5, C3, C1and one neutral gray, N0.

Next, I die cut a paper cloud stencil with the Cloudy Sky Scene Dies, an add-on for this month. Then, using a blender brush, I added some Hero Hues Reactive Inks in Thistle, Taffy and Splash, to finish off the front of the envelope.

I flipped the card over and repeated the process with the clouds, but this time I added some die cut clouds and hot air balloon from the main kit. I colored them with a blender brush and some more of the Thistle and Taffy inks. Finally, I adhered them to the top of the flap with Hero Arts Precision Glue.

I'm pretty sure these beautiful and super fun images will make your addressee smile big! I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek. I can't wait to see what you create with your kit and goodies this month.

Cute way to address the envelope. I almost would hate to trust is arriving safely through the mail, best to put into a larger mailer.

That little airplane gets around. I like to decorate envelopes for my cards, and this kit should be a welcome addition to my collection.
