January My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #6 + Giveaway

We are one sleep away from the release of the January My Monthly Hero Kit! The kit will be available Monday, January 6 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Now let’s join Ilina, who is sharing the final look at this fabulous kit!

Hi everyone! Ilina here sharing another peek of the new My Monthly Hero kit. This month features stand alone dies which are very detailed and amazing along with a 4x6 stamp set with many sentiments for all occasions. Also there is a pink sparkle embossing powder and Aqua Glimmer Metallic Ink in the kit!

I started with what supposed to be one card and ended up with six. To make the cards you will need to use the newsprint block background stamp from the set and stamp it in Soft Granite and Intens-ified Black inks onto Dove White cardstock pieces measuring 4" x 5 1/4".

Once stamped, die cut a bunch of the elements from the die set from Dove White, Peony, Cherry, Paradise and Pesto cardstock. Using the Aqua Glimmer Metallic Ink, color the butterfly, and using Clear Embossing and Watermark ink, apply the pink sparkle embossing powder on the butterfly and flower.

I used Moss, Red Royal and Soft Pink to apply some ink onto the other die cuts to get little bit more depth.

Once you have all the die cut elements adhere to the previously stamped panels.

Stamp sentiments onto Pitch Black cardstock using Clear Embossing and Watermark ink and emboss in white. Die cut with the strip die that comes in the kit. Adhere to panels. Adhere panels to Pitch Black top folding note cards and add some enamel dots for added interest.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you are inspired!

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, January 6, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific.
