Holly Christmas Card

It's always fun to play with some holiday products, and we can't have too many Christmas cards, right? Today I created a classic holiday card using the following products: Color Layering Holly, Color Layering Holly Frame Cuts, Christmas Trimmings Stamp & Cut, and Wood Floor Bold Prints.

I started by stamping the background image from the Wood Floor Bold Prints with watermark ink on a piece of gray cardstock which was cut to 4"x5". Then I heat embossed the image with gold embossing powder.

Then I stamped holly and berry images from the Color Layering Holly Stamp Set with the following inks: Soft Olive, Moss, Forever Green, and Strawberry.

I gold heat embossed the sentiment from the Christmas Trimmings Stamp & Cut on a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it to a thin banner. I die cut Christmas from the Christmas Trimmings Stamp & Cut four times out of white cardstock and adhered them together using a glue pen.

I finished off my card by mounting my images, sentiment banner, and die cut word on the card front. By the way, I added some gold metallic thread behind my die cut images to give some interest.

That's all for today. Do you like what I came up with? Please leave a comment below - I'd love to hear from you. Thank you for stopping by today. Happy crafting!
