The MSRP will remain at $149.99

The system comes with two starter rolls of foil, press & foil plates, and the system itself. All you need is a die cutting machine and cardstock and you can get foiling right away!

Yes! All of the accessories you paired with the original Glimmer work withthe new and improved system, including foils, plates and shims.

Glimmer II is compatible with any die cutting machine with a 6 ¼” or wider opening, including:  

  • Spellbinders Platinum™
  • Spellbinders Platinum 6™
  • Stampin’Up Stampin'Cut & Emboss Machine™
  • Sizzix Big Shot Plus™
  • Sizzix Switch™

It does not work in a Sizzix Big Shot (original or newly released). 

The reality is that you unplugged the platform in the original system by “undocking” it, so that is not a change from the original. We’ve just made it a lot easier to plug and unplug. Further, because the heating platform is a full plate vs. a coil, we have found that the system actually heats up faster between passes through the machine, so long as you plug it back in promptly after running it through.
