Strawberry Pies with Pie Perfection & Tina Smith

Hi there, crafty friends! Tina here from Cards and Coffee Time, I am excited to share with you 3 strawberry pie projects featuring my New Pie Perfection Collection on the Spellbinders Blog today. I love to create with paper and I also love to bake, this collection was a perfect match for both. I just love pie in all flavors, cream pies, meringue pies, double-crust pies, fruit pies, and custard pies. With the Pie Perfection Collection, you can create all of the above for almost any season and holiday! With Spring in the air, I think it was only appropriate to make up a few Strawberry Pies for you today.

My first card (below) was created with the Perfect Pies Die Set, the Perfect Pies Sentiments & Fillings Stamp Set, and the Delicious Decorations Die Set. I embossed a card front panel of Pink Sand cardstock with the Sketched Floral Embossing Folder for my background. I die cut my strawberry pie with Dahlia Cardstock, the pie tin with the Silver Mirror Cardstock, and the pie crust with Portobello Cardstock. The strawberries and the flower centers were die cut with Dahlia, Pink Sand, and Wild Berry Cardstock. The whip cream on the pie and flowers at the bottom of my card were die cut with White Cardstock. I stamped my sentiment on Silver Fox Cardstock and framed it using the Essential Rectangles Die Set.

For my next project I created a landscape card using the Serve a Slice Die Set, the Perfect Pies Sentiments & Fillings Stamp Set, and the Dish It Up Die Set. I started by embossing a card front panel of Dahlia Cardstock with the Plaid Company Embossing Folder. I then die cut quite a few sets of silverware with White Cardstock and layered them on the embossed panel. I stamped my sentiment on a strip of White Cardstock with black ink and adhered it to a piece of Vellum along with my strawberry pie slice. I created my pie and strawberries with Wild Berry, Pink Sand, White and Portobello Cardstock. I added foam adhesive behind the pie and placed it to the right on the vellum and added a fork and knife die cut with Onyx Cardstock.

For my final card today I used the Bakers Box Die Set, the Sky View Pies Die Set, the Picnic Checkerboard Stencil, and the Perfect Pies Sentiments & Fillings Stamp Set.  I created my background with the Picnic Checkerboard Stencil using Spun Sugar and Festive Berries, fading it at the top. I created a strawberry pie with the Wild Berry Cardstock and Portobello Cardstock. The strawberries and tags were die cut with Pink Sand, Dahlia, and Wild Berry cardstock. The Bakers Box was created with Acetate and White Cardstock. I finished by stamping my sentiment with black ink and stamped a few of the ants from the Perfect Pies Sentiments & Fillings Stamp Set.
