Hello there,
Michelle Short here to share three cards with you using
Bibi’s Snowflakes collection by Bibi Cameron. This beautiful collection features lots of snowflakes that can be used for different occasions. They are perfect for winter and Christmas cards especially!

WISHING YOU
My first card uses the
Snowflake Card Creator Etched Dies. This 6” large snowflake is perfect to add onto cards or can be used as the card itself, which is what I have done today. I cut the outer layer from white cardstock twice, made a hinge on one piece, and adhered it to the back of the other, to create a card base.

I cut the top layer first from white cardstock and then again using
White Pop-Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam Sheets. I adhered the white piece down first, to help with placement, and then the foam one on top. I die-cut the foliage from the set from
Rainforest and
Fern Cardstock and the flowers from
Purple Mist and
Lilac Blossom Cardstock.

I assembled and adhered the flowers and foliage to the card using
Bearly Art Glue (because of the glitter, it does take a little extra time to dry). I die-cut the sentiment from
Snowflake Wishes Clear Stamp & Die Set using
Royal Amethyst Cardstock three times and stacked them up for dimension. I stamped a sentiment from the set, die cut it out and adhered it on top before adhering the whole thing to the card using foam tape. To finish off, I embellished it with a few
Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

For my second card, I wanted to show how you can use the snowflakes in a subtle way for a background. I hot foiled the
Glimmering Snowflakes Hot Foil Plate onto white cardstock with
Opal Foil. This gives a tone-on-tone look with a subtle shine. It was then die-cut into a
tag.

I hot-foiled the
sentiment from the set onto black cardstock using
Silver Foil. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the tag using thin foam tape. I die-cut the foliage from
Snowflake Card Creator using
Rainforest and
Fern Cardstock and adhered them above the sentiment.

I die cut the
Christmas Bird from
Snowdrift,
Purple Mist,
Lilac Blossom,
Wild Berry and
Chamomile Cardstock. The pieces were assembled using
Bearly Art Glue and adhered to the tag using foam tape. I added an
Onyx Gem for his eye and then
twine through the top of the tag and tied it in a bow. The tag was then adhered to an A2 white card base with more thin foam tape.
TO SAY HELLO

My final card for today uses the
Delicate Snowflakes Etched Dies, which can be used in so many different ways! I die-cut the snowflake base three times from white cardstock and layered them up for dimension. I then die-cut the top layer twice from white cardstock and adhered it on top.

I die-cut the leaves from
Rainforest Cardstock and the flowers from
Purple Mist and
Lilac Blossom Cardstock. They were adhered on top using
Bearly Art Glue. I took a panel of cardstock and using a craft knife and ruler, cut a fishtail banner at the bottom of it.

The snowflake was adhered on top and then the banner adhered to an A2 white card base using thin foam tape. I stamped a sentiment from
Snowflake Wishes Clear Stamp & Die Set using
Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied
Silver Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and adhered on top with more foam tape. To finish, I embellished with
Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems.
