Hello, crafty friends! Are you ready for some Christmas inspiration? I'm sharing three slimline cards today showcasing the
Holiday Slimline collection by Spellbinders! There are so many fun die and glimmer sets in this collection that you can mix and match to get a head start on your Christmas cards!

Die Cut Greenery
My first card features these gorgeous pinecone, poinsettia, and greenery dies that you can layer and add to your cards. I cut a large amount of these pieces, ink blended them a bit, and then layered them over my card front.
Before adding my die cut pieces, I dry embossed the background with one of Spellbinder’s slimline embossing folders. I love the
diagonal stripes on this folder! It adds some interest to the background without being too overwhelming.

I also used the new glimmer sentiments to foil a gold sentiment and then add it to my card using foam adhesive. For some finishing embellishments, I added the fashion gold self-adhesive embellishments onto the poinsettias. I think these little greenery dies are absolutely perfect for making some classic Christmas cards!
Stack It Up!

Don’t you just love this next die set? So fun! You get all the pieces to cut out some festive legs and then all the gifts you can stack in this girl’s arms! I decided to take advantage of the height of a slimline card and give her a very tall stack of gifts!

Another fun thing about this die set is that you can adhere the legs from the die in a way that they swing back and forth when you tip the card. Interactive cards are always another layer of fun!

I added another glimmer sentiment that went perfectly with this die set. I also used more of those poinsettias leftover from my first card to embellish a few of the gifts with. This new Christmas collection of dies and glimmer plates can be mixed and matched so easily!
Amazing Argyle

I love the new
Argyle inspired die set, as well! I wanted a card that reminds me of a Christmas argyle sweater, so I cut the die using gold, green, and glitter red cardstock and glued it down into a sweater-type pattern.

I again added a glimmered sentiment.
TIP! When glimmering a sentiment, go ahead and glimmer extras! Then you will have ready-made foiled sentiments to pop onto any last minute cards. A little foil takes every card to the next level!

I finished this card by adding more of the fashion gold embellishments, and also adding some more shiny die cut circles to the intersections of the argyle pattern. Never too much gold!
Thanks for stopping by today, friends! I hope this has given your Christmas crafting a bit of a kick start. It is never too early for Christmas!
Until next time,
Marie Nicole
