Video: Using Small Stamps to Create a Unique Background

Hello creatives, and happy one-day-until-Spring day! This is Rachel Kleinma n and today I'm sharing a video that highlights those often forgotten small stamps. Those tiny stamps can be combined to create a wonderful background that's unique to your project.

If you're having trouble watching the video, please click HERE to watch on YouTube.

All of the stamps used on this card are from the very season-appropriate Spring Bunny Bundle . I started by stamping the small images in Peony ink on a panel of Peony cardstock. I highly recommend you watch the video as I share a lot of tips for creating a background that flows.
Now it's time to create some grass for the bunnies to play in. Use a medium ink blending brush to ink Kiwi cardstock with Green Hills ink - repeat this step so you have two layers of inked cardstock. Then use your Compact Cutter to die cut with the grass die from Butterfly Foliage Fancy Dies . To have all the pieces match, die cut the stamped Peony panel and the two grass pieces with the Scalloped Rectangles Infinity Die .
The two bunny stamps and the sentiment are stamped with Intense Black ink on Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. I colored the bunnies with Copic markers, and all the images were die cut with the coordinating bundle dies.
All pieces are adhered with Precision Glue , and one bunny is popped up with foam adhesive. The finished panel is layered on an A2 card base made with Mustard cardstock.

I encourage you to explore any of your Hero Arts stamp sets to give those itty-bitty stamps some love and appreciation! The sky is truly the limit with these little stamps!
I hope you've signed up for the Hero Arts Spring Stamp_Along where I'll be sharing a great mixed media card...see you there!
