Video: Stenciled Birthday Card

Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am sharing a fun card using the Using Stencils with Inks Kit . This fun and versatile kit consists of the Every Which Way stencil, Birthday Hugs and Kisses stamp set, and 3 ink pads: Orchid, Neon Purple and Neon Pink.

When you purchase these products together as a bundle , you'll save about 25% of the regular price of the individual products.

Watch the video below to see how this card came to be! (Or click here to watch the video in HD on YouTube.)

To make the card start with a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Dove White cardstock . Secure the stencil over it and ink blend Orchid, Neon Purple, and Neon Pink inks (these come in the kit) using blending brushes or any other ink blending tool of your choice. Apply glimmer embossing paste, remove the stencil and set aside to dry.

In the meantime, stamp sentiments using Embossing and Watermark ink on Pitch Black cardstock and emboss in white. Trim to size. Cut a coordinating piece of vellum paper and adhere together (the larger sentiment).

Using foam mounting tape, adhere to stenciled panel. Trim off excess. Add a few Hero Hues Neutrals Enamel Dots and adhere to a Pitch Black card base.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have an amazing day!

RITA,

Ilina, such a beautiful card and just in time. My daughter’s birthday is tomorrow. You’ve given me a wonderful inspiration.
