Win a Sold Out Kit! Favorites from the Vault Giveaway #3

Happy Saturday! We're back with our third and final Favorites from the Vault giveaway opportunity!

During a recent warehouse cleaning session, we were happily surprised to find some hidden treasures -- a handful of past kit items. We gathered every last piece from a few select kits, and now you have a chance to win some SOLD OUT My Monthly Hero kit products!

We may have saved the best for last. You decide...

Who remembers the very FIRST My Monthly Hero kit? The month, October...the year, 2015. Who also remembers how quickly that kit sold out? (Back then, there were no My Monthly Hero subscriptions offered.) The beautiful color layered poinsettias came onto the scene and were a smashing hit right out of the gate -- so much so, that the kit sold out in just a few hours and our website experienced some hiccups due to the heavy traffic. We've learned and grown since then, but will never forget the excitement and joy of that very first kit. It holds a special place in our hearts as we now celebrate the MMH program's 5th anniversary with you.

As the ultimate throwback, today we have 5 sets of stamps and dies from the October 2015 kit to give away to 5 lucky winners!

TO ENTER: Comment on this blog post and let us know one piece of stamping wisdom that you wish you'd known when you started stamping! The entry deadline is Thursday, October 29 at 11:59pm PT. We will announce the 5 randomly chosen winners here on the blog.

Now we get to announce the winners from last weekend's Favorites from the Vault giveaway!

The 5 randomly chosen winners will each receive stamps and dies from the sold out October 2018 kit:

• Stephanie Benoit
• Julia Dvorak
• Mary Gilmer
• Tracy Kent
• Sandy Koca

Congratulations to all! Please send an email to info@heroarts.com to claim your prizes and include "Vault Winner" in the subject line.

Last but not least, we want to remind you that time is running out on our classic kits sale. Celebrate 5 years of My Monthly Hero with $5 off a fabulous selection of classic kits, while supplies last! The sale price ($29.99) is reflected automatically in your shopping cart -- no code needed. This offer expires October 31. Check out all eight of the classic kits on sale here.

Thanks for stopping by and celebrating our anniversary with us. Wishing you a lovely weekend!

I started out scrapbooking and got just hooked on cards. I loved the stamping, maybe to much as indicated by my “collection”. It’s not so much what I wish I knew as what I wish they had. A “stamping platform”. I saw the “M” (will not mention names) on YouTube and thought “this is amazing!!!” I bought one on sale and have never looked back. I used to throw away more paper with “shadow” stamping, partial stamping and just poor images. Now 99% of my stamping is spot on first time. Love, Love, Love that tool

Barbara Spiegel,

Love all these kits. So much fun to play with. I wish I had known there were so many fellow stampers out there when I started out 5 yrs ago. They are all so kind and supportive. Thank You Hero Arts!

Donna Knipfer,

I love these kits! If i could have known all about heat embossing when I first started stamping, I would be overrun now with a studio full of embossing powders….well, maybe MORE overrun than I am now! That was indeed the best thing I ever saw when a shop owner showed it to me one day. Wow…that was over 20 years ago!

Nancy Walker,

Something I wish I knew back when I started crafting is; don’t buy so much of one paper design and try to always get matching dies for your stamps. Too much of one paper design means I’m drowning in multiple sheets of paper. And I get tired of fussy cutting. Lol.

Kelly Fett,

When I started this “hobby” the justification was how much I could save by making my own cards. Yeah right! This whole card making passion was a total learning curve for me. YouTube and blogs were and still are a valuable source of information. I wish I had started stamping when the clear stamps came out. I would have so much more room right now for storage… need to purge. Thank you so much for this opportunity to win one of your awesome kits.

Hello cardmakers, Lisa Tilson here, and today we’re going to be talking about ink blending. This is such an integral part of cardmaking, as ink blending can be used for many different designs in many ways. You might want to blend inks to create a background for a stamped or die-cut scene. You might want to add ink blending onto a stamped, pressed, or foiled...

2 Floral Birthday Card Ideas with the Just Add Cake Cardmaking Kit

Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be sharing two cards today using the Just Add Cake Birthday Cardmaking Kit. Both cards feature the Garden Party Etched Dies.
