The Final Stay Crafty Challenge Winner + Thank You!

Wow — what an incredible creative journey this has been!

First, a big congratulations to our December Stay Crafty Monthly Challenge winner — Juan Ambida!

We love this adorable scene created using the Festive Christmas Scene Die Set and Meowy Cat-mas Stamp & Cut. And that shiny gold frame is the perfect festive touch!

💫 The End of a Wonderful Chapter

December marked the final Stay Crafty Monthly Challenge, and it feels bittersweet to share this news. Over the years, this challenge has become such a special part of our creative community — a place to experiment, share ideas, and be inspired by one another. With a wide variety of creative themes and seasonal inspiration, each challenge invited makers to explore something new month after month.

❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You

We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who made the ABNH Stay Crafty Monthly Challenge what it was. To Michelle Lupton, thank you for your creativity, leadership, and tireless work behind the scenes. From managing the ABNH team and organizing every challenge detail to writing each post, your dedication made this challenge what it was.

To the entire A Blog Named Hero Team, thank you for your dedication, encouragement, and endless ideas that kept the creativity flowing month after month.

And finally, thank you to all of you who participated, shared your projects, commented, and supported one another. Whether you joined us occasionally or never missed a month, you helped build an amazing, welcoming creative community, and we are so grateful.

💬 We’d Love to Hear From You

Even though this challenge series has come to an end, we know many of you love creative challenges just as much as we do — and we’d love your input! What types of challenges do you enjoy most? Do you gravitate toward sketch challenges, color challenges, theme-based prompts, or holiday-inspired projects? Is there something specific that really motivates you to participate and create?

Let us know in the comments — your feedback means so much to us and helps shape what comes next.

Thank you for your continued support of the ABNH Stay Crafty Challenge over the years. We are so grateful for this amazing community and excited to see what’s next.

Stay crafty!

Cassi D.,

Challenges are the best motivation for me! I usually just have a couple hours of throughout the weekend to dedicate to crafting, so I love to use the prompts to gete moving quickly. My favorite prompts are themes and sketches, but sometimes a color prompt is fun too.

And I would also add that my favorite part of challenges is getting a reaction from other participants. I appreciate the likes and comments even more than the possibility of a prize.

Thanks for hopefully keeping the Hero Arts challenges alive!

Cynthia D Olheiser,

Congrats to Juan and his whimsical Christmas scene!

Stay Crafty Challenges and Design Team will be missed. Thank you for all of the inspiration and hard work to keep the challenge going.

I’m a big fan of sketch challenges. I will be excited to see the new creative challenges that Hero Arts sponsors.

Thanks for asking for customer feedback!

Tracy,

Awww I’m so sad to hear that December was the last challenge! I always look forward to seeing what the challenge will be each month. And while I wasn’t able to play every month it was a great “excuse” to get out some Hero Arts goodies and get creative.

I love sketches most, but also enjoy inspiration or “word queues”. I struggle the most with color challenges as I like a simpler, clean style and it’s usually hard to incorporate a lot of colors into those.
