You may have heard -- My Monthly Hero turns 5 this month! As these October days breeze by, we couldn't let the milestone pass without some extra fun for you. Whether you're a subscriber, an occasional purchaser of kits, or have yet to try your first kit, we want to invite you to celebrate with us throughout our MMH anniversary month!
We love giveaways. You probably do too. Today we're thrilled to kick off our Favorites from the Vault series of super awesome giveaways! We were recently surprised when we found a handful of kit items while cleaning the nooks and crannies of the warehouse. (Who says housework isn't fun?!) Masculine kits come to mind, to include hunting, fishing and outdoor activities.
First of all, congratulations on your 5th Anniversary! Woot, woot! I love anything retro! I would love to see a retro cat set, you know those cute cats and kittens that you might remember from children’s books from the 1950s and ’60s. That would make an awesome kit!
I would love a sports theme (football, baseball, softball, soccer, etc.) kit. I make a lot of cards for kids, and sports cards are always a big hit.
I love dandelions and these stamps look awesome. I’ve never bought a kit but would love to try this one.
Congrats on celebrating 5 years! Your kits are great. I would love to see a kit with banners, borders & frames. Also a treasure map, treasure chest could be fun.
I really wanted this kit when it first came out and I saw a few examples made with the stamp set. I was bummed when it sold out. Glad to hear you’ve found a few extras! Exciting! I would love to see a kit based on building a window scene. Where you can add flowers and curtains to the window. You could add animals, objects or people outside. A window for all seasons could be achieved depending on what you added to the scene. The widows could open with dies included. I think there are a lot of ideas you could build off of from that. I always look forward to the next Hero Arts kit. It’s one of my favorite days of the month. I have to sneak away a bit while at work to check it out and put my order in before they get sold out. Sometimes I’m not successful, but I still look forward to the ideas that come. Happy October everyone!

I would love to see you come up with a kit that is based on Pinocchio. The music boxes and clocks, the characters, the architecture. It would be different from the Disney movie version, but I think that it could be really cute!!!!
