July My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #5 + Giveaway!

And we’re back for another countdown post, leading up to the release of the July My Monthly Hero kit! Release day is Monday, July 3rd at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We’ll be here all weekend long, sharing ideas for using both the main kit, as well as new optional add-on products that will be available on Monday. And don’t forget to comment on each and every post as we’ll be giving away a kit on Monday morning, before the kit launches! In this post, Amy shares a card design that features stamps from this month’s main kit!

I’m super excited to share a card that I designed using the exclusive stamps in the July My Monthly Hero kit. It’s filled fabulous images and sentiments.

Those sweet pea blooms remind me of the Seattle Pike Place Market! All the images have been stamped with Intense Black ink and watercolored. You might notice that each bouquet is watercolored slightly differently:

I added the sweet sentiment onto the water can. It’s been heat embossed in white. Each of the watercolor panels have been cut with a Rectangle Infinity Die. The sentiment has been cut with a Circle Infinity Die.

The base panel is from the Foliage Mix Layer Paper pack.

This is going to a sweet friend as a thank you. I’m trying to be better about sending out cards, how about you?

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, July 3rd, before the kit launches at 1pm Eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Good luck!
