Happy Holiday Card with the Christmas Toys Stamp Set

I just can't help creating a background when I see any stamp set filled with little images. For today's card, I created my own background with fun images from the Christmas Toys stamp set.

After stamping the images with Intense Black Ink, I colored them with Copic markers. Then I added some dots between the images using a grey marker to finish off my background.

I always say that you don't have to color entire images - especially when you are in hurry completing your project or you don't feel like coloring. It's still okay and I do love the look of the partially colored background.

I gold heat embossed the sentiment from the Fluffy Stockings Stamp & Cut on a piece of black cardstock. I finished off my card by popping up the sentiment banner on the card front using 3M foam tape.

That's all for today. Hope my card inspired you to create a fun stamped background. Happy crafting!

Karen L K,

Such nice interesting colors! I like the way you stamped a bunch of the small cute images.

Marjorie Dumontier,

I know what you’re saying here ! I also using these little accessories stamps to make backgrounds.

Renee V.,

May I think this is just so brilliant of you to partially color the images, and using the same colors for each makes it so cohesive. You’re so talented, thanks for sharing!!

MelissaF,

Beautiful OLC, I love that you left parts of the images white, and the dots in the background really add interest! Thanks for the reminder I don’t have to color it all.

paperpicnic,

This is very sweet, May! Beautiful!
