February My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #2 + Giveaway

MMH Countdown to Creativity

We are back with another look at the February My Monthly Hero release! The kit will be available on Monday, February 6th at 1pm EST/10amPST. We’ll be sharing ideas for using the main kit and the optional add-on products all weekend long, so stay tuned for more inspiration! Now let’s join Michelle who is sharing another look at the main kit and add-ons, available on Monday.

Brighten My Day By Michelle Short For Hero Arts

I love how versatile this kit is! It is great for creating projects for encouragement, for friendship and just general feel-good cards! For my card, I first took a piece of white cardstock and embossed one of the Rectangle Infinity Dies on to it. I then took the stamp set from the kit and stamped the sun and cloud on to the cardstock panel with Intense Black Ink. I also stamped the rainbow, this time on to a separate piece of cardstock. The images were simply coloured using Copic Markers.

I die cut the rainbow using the coordinating die and added this to the panel with foam tape. The sentiment is from the optional add-on CM152 Fun In The Rain stamp set. The image panel was adhered to a white A2 sized card base with foam tape, and to finish off, I added a few Clear Gemstones around the sentiment. Surely this would brighten up anyone’s day!

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts. The winner will be announced first thing Monday morning, February 6th, before the kit launches at 1pm EST. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Enjoy the rest of the countdown!
