Hello! It's Caly here today sharing a card made using this month's add-ons! I'm using the Vintage Window Fancy Die along with the Deco-rations stamp set to create the scene on today's card. I was going for a stained-glass feel and did some embossing to achieve this, so let's dive right in!

To begin, I stamped the images using Intense Black ink and colored them using Copic markers (B60, B63, FV2, G00, BG13, RV11, R85, B000, B00). I also used the new Hero Hues Dove White cardstock (coming February 15!) to color these images on and am pleased to report that it works wonderfully for Copic-coloring. I also need to do a shameless plug and say that the Hero Arts Intense Black ink is my new favorite go-to black ink. It stamps beautifully, is juicy but crisp...LOVE. After stamping, I die-cut the images using the coordinating Deco-rations dies and the Vintage Window from a plain white cardstock panel. Then I set them aside to work on the background.

I made a top-folding card base and ink-blended it with Ocean, Aegean, and Mint Julep - blending darkest from the outsides and moving towards the center with the lighter ink. The ink dried almost immediately - so I took my Versamark Ink pad and dabbed the entire panel with ink before adding Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat-setting it with the Heat Tool to emboss the glossy sparkle background that you see.

To finish my card, I added foam adhesive to the window frame and adhered it over the ink-blended/embossed card base. I realized at this point that I needed to stamp the sentiment, but didn't want to do a sentiment strip - so I positioned the card inside the MISTI and stamped the sentiment using Staz-On permanent ink. I rarely use this ink but it's handy for non-porous surfaces like acetate and in situations like this (over an embossed area where ink may not saturate the surface). Then I adhered my images in a few places, adhering with foam tape where needed and finished it off with a few drops of Crystal Clear Lacquer on all the circle accents of each image.
I hope you enjoyed this card! Thank you all for stopping by today!

The colors are nice and vibrant. This stamp set is just beautiful and the overall card reminds me of the art nouveau stain glass in my homeland. Beautiful.
