December My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #2 + Giveaway!

MMH Countdown to Creativity

We're back again with another idea to share, leading up to the release of the December My Monthly Hero Kit on Monday, December 5th at 1 pm/eastern/10am pacific. This time Amy is here sharing a card idea using some of the kit's stamps.

The December kit is perfect for any celebration! I decided to design a clean and simple card to make the stamps the focal point.

I especially love this kit because I feel that party (celebratory, birthday) themed cards are always a 'must-have' in your card stash! I've stamped the images with Blackboard Shadow ink and colored them with various copics.

I did a bit of watercoloring with then topped off the card with the sentiment.

The sentiment and images are all on foam adhesive. It adds some fun to the design.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, December 5th, before the kit launches at 1 pm eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Diane B,

This card shows a very different side to the kit from idea 1 and 3. Love the simplicity. Using a softer outline ink is a great idea. (btw – I didn’t get an email about this post. I did for #1 & #3).

Julie Hardin,

Love the beautiful yellow and the soft colors for the stamps!
