Create a Cozy Mini Holiday Scene

Hello! Jen here today with a mini holiday scene. Sometimes making a scene that fills the entire A2 card can be overwhelming or maybe you just don’t have the time. I’ve paired the Cozy Study Bundle up with the Journaling Photo Frame Infinity Dies to create a snapshot holiday scene.

Instructions:

1. Stamp the images from the Cozy Study Bundle using Intens-ified Black Ink. Color with alcohol markers and cut out with coordinating dies. Stamp pine branch from Swirly Christmas Tree Bundle using Forever Green Core Ink. Die cut bow from Snowy Street Lamp Fancy Dies out of white cardstock and color.

2. Die cut the largest frame from the Journaling Photo Frame Infinity Dies out of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock, saving the center.

3. Stamp the Kaleidoscope Snowflakes Bold Prints on frame center using Blue Hawaii Reactive Ink. Blend over stamping with the same ink and a blending brush to soften image.

4. Stencil a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock with the Holiday Foliage Stencil and Green Apple Reactive Ink. Blend over panel without reloading brush.

5. Stamp over stenciling with the Jingle Bells Script Bold Prints using Contour Ink. Adhere to an A2 card base.

6. Adhere images to the stamped panel using thin foam squares. Cut off overhang.

7. Stamp sentiment from Swirly Christmas Tree stamp set to frame using Cherry Core Ink.

8. Adhere frame to card with thin foam squares the place scene panel inside frame.

9. Add white gel pen highlights and Translucent Greens Hero Hues Enamel Dots.

You could skip the dies and stamp the Cozy Study images directly on the panel but it would require quite a bit of fussy cutting and masking. Plus, the dimension makes it so much more fun!
