April My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #5 + Giveaway!

Here we are with our last countdown post leading up to the April My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons release on Monday, April 3rd at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Jess is here to show you a card using the main kit and one of the Paper Layering add-ons!

Good morning! Jess here with a card using the gorgeous Paper Layering Eiffel Tower with the April My Monthly Hero Kit!

You Are One of a Kind by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero ArtsI wanted to do something a little dramatic but in a subtle way…makes sense, right? Ha! I started by flicking gold metallic paint onto a white card panel. I let that dry while I die-cut the Paper Layering Eiffel Tower using the shimmery grey cardstock that’s included in the kit! Then I stamped the gorgeous silhouette of the lady onto the card with Versafine and heat-embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. I also stamped her clutch and necklace with Versamark and heat-embossed them with Gold Embossing Powder. Finally I stamped the sentiment onto the shimmery pink cardstock that’s included in the kit and adhered it with a little foam mounting tape.

You Are One of a Kind by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero ArtsAnd that’s it! Lots of sparkle and shimmer with a fun pop of color! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous day!

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, April 3rd, before the kit launches at 1pm Eastern. The more you comment, the more chances you’ll have to win!

Good luck!
