A Blog Named Hero - Glitz

Today's post introduces the latest challenge from our friends over at A Blog Named Hero. We are so thankful for the support they give us, and the amazing creations the team creates. If you're looking for a fun challenge to play along with, check them out! Today team member Joy is sharing a beautiful card for their November challenge.

Hi there crafting friends! I’m excited to be here today, to introduce the latest challenge on A Blog Named Hero: Glitz! It’s heading towards the holiday season, so adding some sparkle will be right on time!

For my card, I started with a plain white A2 card base and stamped the snowman from the Merry Snowmen stamp set using Intens-ified Black ink. Next, I masked it and stamped the trees from the same stamp set.

After that, I stamped the image from Holly Berries stamp set on the card panel. I then stamped the same image one more time on the top left side of the card to fill in the empty space.

Next, I used my Copic markers to colour all the images. Then I applied Hero Paste to create the snow, and while the paste was wet, I sprinkled Ultra Fine Prisma Glitter on it and dusted off the excess. To add more sparkle to this card panel, I used the Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen along with a brush and applied it on the leaves.

Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Berries stamp set using Intens-ified Black ink.

I hope you like it!! I can’t wait to make more to send out this year.

As always, our beloved Hero Arts have sponsored our challenge, so you can win one of two gift vouchers to buy some delicious Hero Arts goodies!!

Hope you’re all keeping safe and well, we look forward to seeing what you make for the challenge!
