Three Stories, One Collection
Hello crafty friends! Angela here with you today. I’d like to share three scrapbooking layouts featuring the gorgeous Heartfelt Scrapbooker’s Kit by Spellbinders in collaboration with Rosie’s Studio. I am totally in love with this collection, it is so versatile and perfect for any theme you want to tell about. Don’t you believe me? Keep reading and I’ll show you!
The first layout is an A4 page and the theme can be easily caught. It is a travel story.
Vespa is a very famous motorbike here in Italy. In my twenty, almost every friend of mine had one. Using the Spellbinders Ciao die as embellishment was a must!
Above the Vespa, I used some stickers from the Heartfelt kit. I arranged them alternating different shapes: a round sticker, a phrase, two strips and a couple of hearts. This helped to give some movement.
On the opposite corner of the page, I created a cluster of banners and some of them are stuck in place with foam adhesive, for adding some dimension.
The title, positioned below the photo, is always created using the alphabet sticker that comes in the kit.
To break the monotony of the white page, I added a colored frame, using the woodgrain paper of the kit. I stuck it underneath the white paper so that it peeked a tiny bit, just 0,25 inches. I also added three strips of patterned paper at the bottom, for a touch of color.
The second scrapbooking page is a traditional 12 inches layout. The theme here is love <3
As a background, I chose the patterned paper with the French phrase ‘l’amour’. I cut it in a square of 10,5 inches and I wrapped some twine at the bottom.
Then, I used the patterned paper with the colored hearts to fussy cut some of them. I stuck the cut hearts below the photo and on top of the twine. To keep the corners complete, I cut out the hearts from the center of the paper. This way, I was able to use the paper again, as a frame on the background.
Around the Polaroid photo, I wrapped again some twine and, on top of it I glued the title, using the word Love from the ephemera pack of the kit.
There are lots of die cuts in the ephemera pack and there are twice of each and lots of them have gold foil details like the word Love and the Hello. I Love You journaling card below.
Last page is a story of motherhood, again in 12 inches format.
First, I would like to point out that this page, with its delicate colors, can be easily used for male or female stories.
In fact, I don’t think you would easily get that these are two baby girls. Maybe you can get it from a couple of pink embellishments but these can be easily replaced by blue ones that are available in the kit. This is to confirm that Heartfelt is a very versatile collection.
The flowers that decorate the page are fussy cut from one of the fabulous papers of the kit.
Beside the photo, I placed one of the journaling card of the ephemera pack and for the title I used the gold foil word Together.
The patterned paper I used for the background is light grey and I paired it with a light pink frame created using a light pink paper glued underneath. I finished up the page with a line of white stitching along the borders, some gold splatters and voilà!
I have truly enjoyed working with this amazing collection. Heartfelt Scrapbooker’s Kit is all you need to create meaningful scrapbooking stories of any kind.
Love, NG
