Spellbinders Glimmer Plates Inspiration | Clean & Simple Foiled Cards with Laurie

Hello there, it’s Laurie Willison here from Soapbox Creations. I am stopping in with a couple projects using the Glimmer Hot Foil System.  I love this amazing tool and how it adds so much to a card! I wanted to make the glimmer plates the focal point of the card and to do that, I have left these cards very clean and simple.  This makes for an easy card but also one that packs a punch.

World's Greatest Friend Card

This first card uses the World’s Greatest Friend Glimmer Plate: World's Greatest Friend Foiled Greeting Card with Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System. Clean & Simple handmade card by Laurie Willison To create this card, I foiled "World's Greatest Friend" in silver foil on white cardstock, cut it out using a rectangle die and foam mounted onto a card base covered with rainbow patterned paper.

Your Future is Bright

I have one more project that I created using the Glimmer Plates.

If you are looking for a fun and easy project to make, it doesn’t get much easier than this one.  I centered the light bulb on the hot foil platform and using the grid lines, it made it easy to center my white card panel.  I ran it through the Platinum Die Cutting Machine very slowly and got amazing coverage! I added the panel to a card base with foam tape and done.  Very simple but that foiled image just stands out!
