Simple Holiday Cards - Oh Joyful Day Card Making Kit

Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m thrilled to be a guest on the Spellbinders blog today! I have three cards to share that I created with the Oh Joyful Card Making Kit! I love all the elements in the kit...from cute, whimsical components to elegant florals, there’s something for everyone! My first card combines cardstock, patterned paper, die-cut shapes, chipboard stickers, clear stickers and a couple of gems... Simple Holiday Cards - Oh Joyful Day Card Making Kit, RBD-007 I trimmed the blue pattern paper and matted it with Poppy cardstock. It was adhered to the plaid pattern paper, which was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 panel of Waterfall cardstock. The clear, gold-foiled snowflake stickers were adhered in a visual triangle and the poinsettia-printed die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue. The chipboard sentiment sticker was added to the center of the card and a couple of Aura AB Gems add a bit of shine to the poinsettias. Simple Holiday Cards - Oh Joyful Day Card Making Kit, RBD-007 My second card combines three different pattern papers, gold cardstock, die-cut shapes, chipboard embellishment stickers and more gems (you can never have enough shine on holiday cards, am I right?)... Simple Holiday Cards - Oh Joyful Day Card Making Kit, RBD-007 For this one, I trimmed the diagonal stripe pattern paper slightly and adhered it to the pink star paper. The wide striped paper was adhered down the center and a thin strip of gold cardstock was added where the two pattern papers meet. The die-cut shapes were adhered at the top and bottom and the chipboard sentiments were adhered in the center. An Aura AB Gem was adhered in the center of each poinsettia and a trio of Red Gem Stickers was added to the holly on the “O” in JOY. Simple Holiday Cards - Oh Joyful Day Card Making Kit, RBD-007 I combined two pattern papers, gold cardstock, Waterfall cardstock, die-cut shapes, and a chipboard sentiment on my third card... Simple Holiday Cards - Oh Joyful Day Card Making Kit, RBD-007 The pink patterned paper was trimmed and adhered to a panel of gold cardstock. The red polka dot paper was trimmed and adhered to an A2 panel of waterfall cardstock. The pre-printed die-cuts were adhered with liquid adhesive, creating a sweet scene. I added a chipboard snowman and sentiment and this one was finished. Simple Holiday Cards - Oh Joyful Day Card Making Kit, RBD-007 That’s it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a great day and happy crafting!!
