Let the Games Begin!

Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Wild Joker Etched Dies from the Jack of All Trades collection by Jaycee Gasper. This is such a fun addition to the collection! You can see the other cards I made with this collection here. The joker can be assembled in a few different ways. On some of the parts (torso and legs) there are indentation lines, so that it’s easy to line them up. I decided to have the joker throwing the cards up in the air, so I covered up some of those lines (where the arms would be if put together as intended) with a diamond so that you couldn’t see them as much. To make this card:

• Die cut face and hands of Wild Joker from Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock.
• Die cut purple parts using Violet ColorWheel Cardstock.
• Die cut black parts using Raven ColorWheel Cardstock.
• Adhere pieces together using Bearly Art Glue.

• Round corners of A2-sized white card base using 1-2 Punch: Corner Rounder & Notch.
• Adhere joker to card base using thin foam tape.
• Cut excess shoe overlapping the bottom of card using 9” Pro Shears.
• Die cut playing cards from the set from Classic White, Violet & Raven ColorWheel Cardstock.
• Arrange to look like joker is throwing them above his head and adhere to card using thin foam tape.

• Hot foil sentiment from Shuffling Sentiments Press Plate onto white cardstock using Opaque Black Glimmer Hot Foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System.
• Cut into strip and adhere to card using thin foam tape.
• Die cut diamond from Pip & Rank Etched Dies from Violet ColorWheel Cardstock and adhere to joker.
• To finish, Embellish with Onyx and Prism AB Color Essentials Gems.
