Hi everyone! I’m
Melissa Phillips and am so happy to be a guest blogger here on the Spellbinders blog. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing projects with you created using the gorgeous
Chantilly Paper Lace collection dies. They are all so beautiful and have quickly become my most favorite dies!

My first card uses the
Lunette Arched Borders, which are so versatile and unique. I love that you can create delicate, detailed frames around your sentiment or focal point using these particular dies.

I used these dies along with solid berry colored cardstock and framed in a sentiment that was stamped on a
Vintage Pierced Banner die.

The
Vintage Pierced Banners provide the perfect place for sentiments to stand out and I love that this die collection comes with three different banners in different shapes to choose from.

My next card uses the lovely
Annabelle’s Trousseau dies. They are so intricate and detailed! The
Chantilly Paper Lace collection dies, truly create elegant cards in minutes.

You can decide how many layers to add using these dies and that makes them so playful and interesting. I used patterned paper for my outer frame, cutting the center out of it using the middle frame die. I then used this die again, this time die cutting glittered white cardstock to add a little shine around my focal point.

I then used the middle frame die one more time, this time using pink patterned paper that I wanted to layer beneath my center die cut, in order to highlight my sentiment. I also love the intricate corner die in this set and chose to use a couple of them on opposite sides of my card, in a contrasting color from the bottom layer.
