Blooming Garden Inspiration | Floral Box with Melissa

Hello! Melissa Phillips here today with a sweet little package created with some beautiful Blooming Garden Collection dies designed by Marisa Job.

Creating special gift packages has been one of my most favorite ways to use my paper-crafting products, so the darling  Heart Flower Box Dies were first on my list to use when preparing my blog projects for you.

This gift box comes together very quickly and easily.  I die cut the bottom of my box from patterned paper and the top from plain white cardstock.  I then added a block of coordinating paper the top, followed by a layer of vellum.  Next came the dainty, die cut flowers which I used around the edges of my patterned paper to create a frame for my large flower in the center.

Next, I die cut strips of patterned paper to embellish the sides of my box.  The Heart Flower Box has all of these wonderful dies to complete your box however you wish.

Lastly, I cut several flowers from white cardstock using the Blooming Rose Dies.  After I had die cut them, I sponged on ink in a variety of pastels and spritzed each bloom with water to add a softened, water-colored look.  I finished by wrapping a strip of trim around my box and placing my large, layered flower in the center.

Cindy Gwinner,

I recently purchased the "Blooming Rose etched dies. Have any of the wonderful crafty people with Spellbinders done a video of how to assemble these roses? Thank You
