Video: Valentine's Day Card with Embossing Paste Background

Have you checked out my Valentine's Day card that I created using the Window On Love Confetti Fancy Die for January 2018 My Monthly Hero blog hop? This time I wanted to use the die as my stencil to create another Valentine's Day card.

After applying some embossing paste over my paper stencil, I heat embossed the stenciled background using gold embossing powder.

I stamped the images from the Love Birds Stamp & Cut with Intense Black ink, colored them with Copic markers, and die cut them with coordinating dies from the Love Birds Stamp & Cut.

I stamped the sentiment from the Love Birds Stamp & Cut with embossing ink on a piece of black cardstock, heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed my sentiment into a thin banner using a kraft knife and ruler.

I finished off my card by mounting my die cut images and the sentiment banner on the card front using 3M foam tape to give some dimension.

I made a video tutorial to show you how to make a card from start to finish. You can watch it above or in HD on YouTube.

That's all for today. Thank you for stopping by. Happy crafting!
