Tracing Decorative Hearts for Valentine's Day

Tracing Decorative Hearts for Valentine's Day

Hello and Happy Valentine's, or perhaps Galentine's, Day to you! Janette here to share a sweet project celebrating this day of love featuring Hero Arts Ballroom Window Fancy Die and All My Love Decorative Hearts stamps.

Create this A2 card by placing 3 stacked Ballroom Windows over an ink blended background of Aegean and Mint Julep inks on the new Hero Hues Dove White cardstock (to be released in the Hero Arts shop tomorrow!).

Stamp a design from All My Love Decorative Hearts in Soft Granite ink. Trace the design with finely sharpened colored pencils. I used a blush, light minty green and black. Then fussy cut heart.

White Detail heat emboss sentiment on Hero Hues Pitch Black cardstock and attach accent strip of gold glitter cardstock. Pop sentiment and heart with foam tape for dimension. Add a few Champagne sequins for detail and adhere to folded card base.

Thank you for visiting today and be sure to pop back in tomorrow for the new Spring Catalog Blog Hop! So. Much. Goodness!

See you soon,

I love the Dove white against the green ink blending! Such a subtle, lovely look! So nice, also, to see two of my new favorite dies used together!

Janette, this card is simply lovely. Especially like how you used the die cut window as the background for your heart and sentiment.. tfs
