The 2019 Catalog is HERE! Blog Hop + Giveaway!

The 2019 Catalog is HERE! Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Last month we introduced our 2019 Catalog, full of brand new stamps, dies, stencils, cardstock and more. And today is the day we've been waiting for - all of the wonderful products from this new release are available in the Hero Arts store right here on our website! And of course, what's a release without a ton of inspiration? We've gathered together our talented Creative Team and some of our fabulous blogging friends for a blog hop to introduce all of the must-have products!

Our dear friend & card artist Sally Traidman has created several cards to share with you today. At the end of this post we have the list for our blog hop, full of ideas for using these new products. And of course there is a chance to enter our giveaways! But first, here's Sally!

I am color bursting with excitement over the new products in the 2019 Catalog. The beautiful new cardstock is a card maker’s dream. Heavy, solid core color that works well with stamps and dies! Swoon!

I thought I would lead off with some cards that probably everyone needs the most - BIRTHDAY CARDS! Birthday Cake Stamp & Cut is a great new set. I stamped out the cake, candles and flowers in Black ink on Antique Ivory cardstock and colored with my markers, then die cut. Now here’s my little secret… I love adding a little depth to some of my die cuts, so I die cut 2 images and glued them together. Here I did it with the candles! While you have that set out, make a few tags for gifts with our new Tag Fancy Die. On one I used the candles again and the other has “confetti” from the tag's circles.

Lastly, I took an Antique Ivory card and stamped the tiny confetti/sprinkles from Birthday Cake Stamp & Cut all over in many ink pad colors. Then I cut the Birthday Message Fancy Die out of Azalea cardstock, 2 times again for depth. I added the candle from the birthday cake set on the “i” for a little uniqueness. Our new giant word dies work great and you can make a simple card in seconds.

I know you will be “DIE-ing” to try some of these things, so go play and have FUN!

Thanks Sally! And now it's time to hop!! Be sure to visit each blog on the list and leave a little love - we will be giving away four (4!) $50 shopping sprees to the Hero Arts online store, randomly drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. Please comment by Sunday, February 17th at 11:59 PM PT and we will announce the winners the following week.

My favorite die is the Garden die. I like that it’s shape adds interst and dimention. I will use it for making aperture, tunel, 3-D & shaker cards. I like using these style of dies both inside and on the fronts of cards.

My favorite stamp set is the Teacup flowers. The flowers are good images for backgrounds like wreath building, or creating a turn aroud. They can be used with many coloring mediums. The cup image has enough space to place a sentiment inside or a seasonal/holiday/occasional image inside.
