Summer Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Summer Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Today's the day! A few weeks ago we revealed our 2018 Summer Catalog, and the products have been available at our favorite retailers. Today we're launching the collection right here on our website, and we have a fun and inspiring blop hop with giveaways to celebrate!

The hop today features our Creative Team along with some of our good stamping friends and the entire team from A Blog Named Hero! But before we get to the rest of the hop, Creative Team member Jessica Frost-Ballas has an adorable card to share with us.

Good morning! Jess here with a foxy card to share with you! I just adore the new Fennec the Fox set and couldn't wait to color him up for a card!

Isn't he sweet? He kinda looks like my dog with those pointy ears! Anyway, I started by stamping the sleeping fox and cactus from Fennec the Fox onto Snow Layering Paper with Versafine and heat-embossed them with Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder. Then I colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to die-cut them. While I was at it, I stamped the sentiment onto Midnight Mixed Layering Paper with Versamark and heat-embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder.

Next I used my MISTI to stamp the Bandanna Bold Prints onto a piece of Snow Layering Paper using the Ombre Light to Dark Peach ink pad. Then I adhered an A2 piece of Decorative Woodgrain Vellum to an A2 piece of Snow Layering Paper and die-cut a window using the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies. I adhered the cactus behind the window and the fox in front. Then I adhered the woodgrain panel over the ombre background. I adhered that to a Snow Folded Card and finished the card with a sprinkling of the Champagne Sequin Mix! And that's it! I have a few more cards to share on my own blog for the hop...I hope you'll stop by! :)

And now it's time to hop! Be sure to visit each blog on the list and leave a little love - we will be giving away two $50 shopping sprees to the Hero Arts online store, randomly drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. Please comment by Sunday, May 20th at 11:59 PM PT and we will announce the winners the following week.

I love fennec foxes a) because they’re adorable and b) because we have a cat who looked a lot like one until she grew into her ears. So, doubly adorable. I’m really looking forward to this bloghop!
