Soft Ink Blended Branches Card

Good morning! Jess here with a soft ink-blended card using the pretty new Staggering Branches set!

To start I stamped the images and sentiment from Staggering Branches onto an A2 panel of Hero Hues Dove White Cardstock with Versafine and heat-embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. I colored the images with Copic markers, keeping the flowers and butterflies in light shades of peach and pink.

Next I used a blending brush to lightly apply Soft Vanilla ink around the branches. The ink is so pale that I didn't worry too much about getting too close to the stamped images. Next I blended Fresh Peach and Soft Cantaloupe ink from the edges of the panel towards the stamped images keeping the blending soft and light towards the center of the card. I trimmed a 1/4" off each side of the panel and adhered it to a Hero Hues Dove White Top-Folded Card to finish the card. The stamp set also has a set of "antlers" with more greenery instead of flowers and, if you prefer, a similar card could be created using light shades of mint and green instead!

Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!
