Peace, Love and Prosperity

Today I have some holiday card inspiration to share using the beautiful new Poinsettia Stencil. This simple card design with bold lines is one that is easy to mass produce.

First, I cut four strips each of Azalea and Cherry cardstock that were 3/4" wide. On the Azalea strips I used the Poinsettia Stencil along with Sea Salt Reactive Ink and a blending brush to create the pattern.

Then I covered a white panel measuring 3.5" x 4.75" with a strong adhesive and arranged my pink and red strips of paper. I trimmed off the excess paper hanging over the edges with my paper trimmer and mounted it to a Dove White card base. Love how the diagonal lines remind me of a candy stripe background!

I trimmed a sentiment strip from Kiwi cardstock and white heat embossed a message from the Holiday Messages and Icons set. This set is full of great messages with a fun font mix! To keep with the theme of the diagonal lines, I trimmed the left side of the sentiment strip to match the lines of the background pattern. Little details like this can really make a card come together!

Hope you have a great day!

What a beautiful card! I love how you used the poinsettia stencil in stripes and the way you cut the sentiment strip to line up. :)
