We are back with another look at the October My Monthly Hero release! The kit will be available on Monday, October 2nd at 1pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. Now let’s join Clare, who is sharing another look at this fabulous kit.
The new kit has so many possibilities, between the stamps and the dies, that it may seem overwhelming. As many places as this kit can take you, today I decided to go the one-layer route.
I stamped all the images in Black, except for the tracks, which were stamped in Soft Granite. Coloring was kept simple, as I only used three colors – light gray, dark gray and red.
I made several cards with the kit, but this was the first, as I had to take it slow and easy to keep myself from getting overwhelmed by all the possibilities.

We don’t celebrate Xmas at our house, but I love the little house, the train set, and the mountains. So even if I’m not going to use the entire set, it looks like it could have some cool pieces still.
